One thing missing from this discussion is the health impacts of having good oral posture. Considering the airway is at the back of the face, having a receded chin or maxilla could hinder your airway, having big implications for sleep apnea.
Clarification on the title: I of course don't mean to suggest that attractiveness depends *only* on tongue posture. Nutrition of the mother and nutrition of the person during formative years surely play a very large role in how the face develops. In fact, the book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration would suggest that; fat soluble vitamins being very important for fertility and proper development of young, with grains & sugar ("modern foods") being very detrimental for development and oral health especially.
Oral posture would be another piece of the puzzle.

NOTE ON SUTURE FUSION: I wish I had used the phrasing "these sutures are not *completely* fused together," or "sutures are not *completely closed* ..." It's understood that after birth, the sutures of the skull "fuse" together by age 2 or so. One study found that complete closure of certain sutures does not occur until as late as 70 years old. Another found that “The human frontozygomatic suture undergoes synostosis during the eigth decade of life, but does not completely fuse by the age of 95 years" based on 61 human cadavers aged 20 to 95.

Autumn Driver is living an unremarkable existence as a 30-something in the 21st century. Trapped in a job she hates and relationships that are more convenient than fun or exciting, she escapes to her (somewhat worse-for-wear) family estate of Orchid Island.

There, she finds solace, wisdom, and a little rebellion in an old, dusty diary from her great-grandmother, June Parker.
She discovers that things weren’t so different in the 1930s, and that a woman from a time without the Internet or even a cell phone can help us navigate the problems of the modern age.

Called to serve - Her Royal Highness, The Nnabagereka (Queen) Sylvia Nagginda Luswata is the wife of the King of Buganda, King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

She is a traditional and cultural leader of the people of Buganda, the largest Kingdom in Uganda occupying almost a quarter of the country, with a population exceeding 7 million people. The Nnabagereka's main focus areas are early childhood care and development; education for girls; vocational training and employment for the youth; empowerment of women, health issues particularly regarding maternal health, the prevention and cure of childhood diseases, nutrition, and sexual reproductive health including the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. She has played a major role in sensitizing and mobilizing the general population on issues of education, health, poverty eradication, culture preservation, and has graciously supported and empowered marginalized groups of youth, women and persons with disabilities. She established the Nnabagereka Development Foundation (NDF) whose mandate is to contribute to uplifting the living standards of all people. In May 2008, the Nnabagereka was chosen by The Netherlands through the Royal Danish Embassy as one of the inspiring women in Uganda to be a torch bearer for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), to promote (MDG3) which is about gender equality and women's empowerment.

I have been editing old hiking videos lately as I am not alllowed to go outdoors because of corona virus outbreak here in New Zealand. It is day 5 of lockdown and I feel so isolated. When will this epidemec end? Praying for fast recovery for those affected by the virus.

Short Walk. A beautiful introduction to the flora and fauna of the Waitakere Ranges and a great addition to any visit to the Arataki Visitor Centre. The track is really a network of three gravelled loop walks. The Identification Loop is short and level, while the upper and lower loops contain graded descents and ascents. Making your way to the kauri knoll at the end of the lower track is recommended as a great example of remnant Kauri forest. 1.6km. From the Arataki Visitor Center follow the path past the Education Center (eg head AWAY from the ice cream stand) and veer left towards the art filled under road tunnel. Once through the tunnel turn left and you’ll see the shoe cleaning station straight ahead. This is the official start of the Arataki Nature Trail and Plant I.D Loop.This is one for the entire family, in fact last time we visited I saw a family group of three generations (think parents pushing kids in a pram with their parents following alongside with walking frames). I’ll be honest though and say they probably went as far as the Plant ID trail because some of the ascents on the Upper and Lower loops are quite steep even Isabelle, who is the “harder” of my two kids (although you wouldn’t guess it by looks alone) get’s a tow up some of the steeper sections. The nature trail comprises three sections – The Upper and Lower Loops and the short Plant ID loop which veers off from the main trail on the right just past the clearing with the shelter.The Plant ID trail is a level loop with a number of trees and plants with accompanying plaques to help identify them. Isabelle likes to practice her Maori pronunciation by reading these plaques and then we have a competition to see who can find the real life version of the picture first.On the other hand both the Upper and Lower loops are undulating walks following gravel pathways to the numerous viewing platforms and/or information boards en route. There are both boardwalks to help navigate some of the wetter areas and there are stairs at the Kauri Knoll. At the very far end of the trail is the Kauri Cathedral. To get to it you ascend a very steep incline to arrive at a ground level viewing platform among a “Cathedral of Kauri”. In my opinion unless you are a tourist and this is your one and only chance to see our Kauri trees – don’t bother … There are far more impressive stands of Kauri in the Waitakere Ranges which are much easier to get too.

Dr. James Kildare finds competition for the affections of nurse Mary Lamont in the person of wealthy brain surgeon Dr. Gregory Lane. Kildare has not proposed to Mary because of his poor financial situation as an intern. Kildare's mentor, Dr. Leonard Gillespie, is informed that Paul Messenger, whose daughter Kildare cured in The Secret of Dr. Kildare, has arranged for Kildare to be offered a prestigious, lucrative position with the Messenger Institute. In the meantime Kildare has arranged for his inspiring but crusty mentor to see a cancer specialist about the melanoma Gillespie is battling.

Despite the temptation of a high salary and a new home, Kildare turns down the job offer to continue to remain near Gillespie. As a result, Mary gives up all hope of marrying Kildare and is assigned as a staff surgical nurse to Lane. Kildare and Lane are put together on a case involving an unidentified patient with a skull fracture who is refusing the operation that would save his life. Lane knows the patient urgently needs the surgery but has lost confidence in himself because too many of his patients have died on the operating table. Kildare convinces Lane that Gillespie has full confidence in his skills and Lane proceeds with the operation.

When the patient wakes up, he shows clear signs of insanity, putting Lane's career in jeopardy and subject to criminal prosecution. Kildare is convinced that the man was mentally ill before the accident which fractured his skull, and thus Lane had a legal right to perform the operation. He risks his own career by using a new treatment, the "insulin shock cure," which succeeds. Questioning the patient for his identity and background, Kildare finds the man's estranged wife and learns that he had gradually lost his sanity over a five-year separation.

Mary puts her own career on the line to protect Kildare until he returns with the wife. Gillespie fires Kildare to get him to propose to Mary. Seeing the couple reunited, she accepts, even knowing that their engagement will of necessity be a protracted one. Gillespie reveals that once again he has plotted to have Kildare find his own way through a difficult situation. Turning the tables, Kildare extracts a promise from Gillespie to accept the care of the cancer specialist in return for keeping Kildare on as his assistant.-Wikipedia

Add to that five great captains, menus or curators, you get the stories we are talking about her

The idea for the series was initiated by the awareness of the growing presence of women in contemporary art, which stems from the desire to influence the new context of reaction to reality. We are witnesses that there have always been women who appear and leave an indelible mark in history and society, and this exhibition gathers more of them and carries a message about the present.
The focus is on the present moment, so each episode testifies to the inner female being and the relationship of the individual to the collective and vice versa. In dialogue with the generations of the 21st century, the director strives to show how women shape contemporary Balkan cultural reality and how she shapes women. Through the diversity of forms of women's creative identity, in personal expressions, techniques and media, the series documents reflections on the most challenging and open questions of the diversity of our time that connects the notion of art. It is an artistic overview of contemporary reality and the position of women in art in the region ...
By connecting institutional and non-institutional artistic practices, the series strives to approach the documentation of one part of contemporary movements of women in art in the most comprehensive way possible.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, will set out his personal vision for London's future development, and discuss his plans to ensure that the city’s growth benefits all Londoners.

London’s population is at an all-time high, and continues to grow as fast as any period since the 19th century. This growth brings challenges of increasing pressures on housing, workspace, local services, infrastructure and heritage, but also brings opportunities to strengthen London’s position as one of the world’s greatest cities.

In A City for All Londoners, Sadiq Khan set out his intention to write this new chapter in London’s development according to the principles of ‘good growth’. For this one-off event the Mayor will describe what good growth will mean for London and Londoners, and how he intends to work with London’s developers, architects, planners, local authorities and communities to deliver it.

Following his speech, Sadiq Khan will join a panel who will respond to his vision.

Sadiq Khan (@MayorofLondon) was elected as Mayor of London in May 2016. Prior to this, he was the MP for Tooting from 2005 to 2016. Sadiq was appointed Minister of State for Communities in 2008 and later became Minister of State for Transport, attending Cabinet. He was also Crossrail Minister. In 2010, Sadiq was appointed Shadow Lord Chancellor and in 2013 appointed Shadow Minister for London. In 2015 he led the Labour Party campaign in London in the General Election.

He pays tribute to Francis in his first words as pope. In his first words as pope, Leo XIV said to the crowd in St. Peter’s Square: “Peace be with you all.”

“This is the first greeting of the resurrected Christ, the good shepherd who has given up his life for God,” he said, explaining the choice of his greeting. “And I should also like this greeting of peace to enter our hearts and our families.”
First American pope: The new pope has been revealed as Robert Prevost of the US, the first American pontiff in history. He’ll be known as Pope Leo XIV. This comes after white smoke billowed above the Sistine Chapel, the signal that cardinals had selected a new pontiff on the second day of the conclave.
White smoke billowing from the Sistine Chapel on Thursday signalled that a conclave of cardinals had selected a new pope: Robert Prevost of the United States. He is the first American Pope in history and will go by Leo XIV. Cardinal Dominique Mamberti of France made the announcement.

Prevost, 69, comes from Chicago.
