The Conservatives’ attempted comeback faces a challenge from Reform UK, with questions over whether Kemi Badenoch can win back voters still frustrated by the party’s 14 years in government.
Jack Elsom, political editor of The Sun, joins Jeremy Kyle from the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham to discuss Badenoch’s defence plans, welfare spending and the battle for former Tory seats.
“It’s much easier for them to vote Reform,” Jack says of voters in former working-class communities, arguing that Nigel Farage does not carry the same political baggage as the Conservatives.
