The film takes place ten years after the outbreak of a war that claimed between 100,000 and 250,000 lives and destabilised the region for many years to come. Today, we have a clearer picture of the formidable machinery set up by senior members of the US administration to give legal, political and moral legitimacy to this war, which, without these cloaks, is looking more and more like a war of aggression.

From the Valerie Plame affair to Jessica Lynch, from the doctored photos shown at the UN by Colin Powell to the photos of the shackled prisoners in Abu Ghraib prison, there are many elements of a conspiracy carried out voluntarily and in concert by the main leaders of the Bush administration.

To understand the progress of the Bush's administration, the film will dissect the colossal effort made by the Bush administration to create a web of state lies on a global scale in order to launch a war of aggression. We will see how phenomenal resources were mobilised. Combining the political will of the neo-conservatives with the credibility of the heavyweights in the American government, the creativity of the major advertising agencies, the talents of the great Hollywood producers and the cynicism of the Pentagon's propagandists, a waltz of grey matter was then judiciously distilled into the servile media, softened by the unbridled patriotism of the post-September 11 era.
