Young archaeologist and treasure hunter Jack Hunter sets out to photograph a cuneiform tablet from the ancient city of Ugarit in Syria—but quickly finds himself entangled in a deadly intrigue. Forced to steal the tablet from a private museum in France, he discovers his mentor, Professor Fredrick “Freddie” Shaffer, believed the artifact holds the key to a hidden treasure. When Freddie is murdered during the heist, Jack heads to Damascus to investigate the crime and retrieve the stolen relic.
There, Jack joins forces with Syrian historian Nadia Ramadan and her witty driver Tariq. Together, they must outrun Russian artifact smuggler Albert Littmann, who is also after the treasure. Following clues encoded in ancient symbols and maps, they face cryptic riddles, desert traps, and dangerous enemies—all in pursuit of the legendary lost treasure of Ugarit.
Blending classic adventure, espionage, and mystery, the film delivers Indiana Jones-style action through the ruins of Syria and Turkey. Despite a modest budget, it offers fast-paced storytelling, exotic locations, and the thrill of forgotten civilizations.
