The film tells the story of 16-year-old Andy, who unexpectedly finds herself at a crossroads in her life. After her grandfather's death, she inherits his orchard - a rich and at the same time burdensome legacy, which becomes a symbol of responsibility and change for her. Along with the orchard, Andy is forced to accept new living conditions: she becomes the ward of her aunt, who comes from the big city to help the girl cope with a difficult task.

In a small provincial town, where traditions and restrictions shape the fate of women, Andy faces numerous challenges. She has to fight for the right to independently determine her path, overcome the prejudices of local residents and find a balance between her dreams and reality. Even those who try to help often question her ability to cope with the legacy.

The film reflects the difficult journey of a young girl who tries not only to preserve the memory of her grandfather, but also to turn the legacy into her own chance to change her life. "July Rising" is a story about perseverance, strength of spirit, and the fight for oneself in conditions where choices are often dictated by circumstances, not one's own desires.
