Synopsis:

The story follows the life of Joey Hill. Joey is going through a stage of depression after the death of his little brother Jason. A year after his brother's death, he decides to become everything his little brother glorified. Joey becomes a drug dealer and starts hanging with the wrong crowd. His best friend (Will) put him on. Will has to get rid of a big shipment of drugs for his supplier (Kash). Will is a big-time hustler who’s trying to get out of the game. Will needs Joey's help to sell after his business peer Sanchez goes down for murder. Will puts Joey on, and now he gets a taste of the reason why you should never put on beginners. Joey lacks experience and purpose. Joey is trying to find himself while trying to become someone else. Joey gets a reality check when he runs into his lifetime crush, Kenya. Kenya saves Joey from a suicide attempt. Kenya is a very smart, absorbing woman. Kenya has sympathy towards Joey after losing his little brother. Joey loves the feeling of her sympathy so much, he goes up to the bus stop where they first met, looking for her every day after his suicide attempt. Joey and Kenya finally get some one-on-one time. Shortly after, Kenya was kidnapped by Chad. Chad works for Kash and is angry that other workers like Will are getting promotions. Kash is one of the laziest, ruthless Suppliers around town who don’t care about anybody but his money and making his big connect Thad happy. Chad has a plot to take over and take Kash’s empire. Chad teams up with Roni No Good and betrays Kash because of Kash’s relationship with Will. Chad has kidnapped Kenya and put her up for ransom. The streets have put some distance between Joey and his best friend Will. Joey, who is more seasoned by the streets than ever before, has to come up with the money to get Kenya back.
