US President Donald Trump will deliver a special address at the 2026 World Economic Forum in Davos.
High tensions are expected between leaders at Davos after Trump launched an attack on the UK in a social media spree earlier on Tuesday.
The US president criticised the UK decision to cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands, revealing messages from European leaders including Emmanuel Macron and posted images showing Greenland as US territory.
“This will be an interesting trip,” Trump told reporters as he left the White House. “I have no idea what’s going to happen, but you are well represented.”
