The circumstances surrounding the mysterious patient seem increasingly suspicious, and every new detail suggests that someone may be concealing a deadly truth. As Harlan searches for answers, his professional responsibilities begin to collide with the risks of getting too close to the wrong people.

The investigation grows more complicated as conflicting stories and hidden motives emerge. People who initially appear trustworthy begin to raise doubts, and the doctor must decide whether to follow the evidence or accept explanations that never quite make sense. With danger closing in, discovering what really happened becomes a race against time.
