Meghan Markle stepped out for a lunch date in London with a friend ahead of her first official outing since moving back to the U.K.
In photos published by Hello! magazine, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, was spotted arriving for lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at The Park restaurant near Kensington Palace, where she and Prince Harry lived during their engagement and as newlyweds. Meghan wore multiple British brands for the outing, including a black tuxedo blazer by Marks & Spencer and Jennifer Chamandi heels.

The outlet reported that Meghan was accompanied by George Northwood, the hairstylist behind the updo for her evening wedding reception when she tied the knot with Prince Harry in May 2018.

“The evening was intimate, for family and friends, a time for Meghan to be herself. By this point, the messy bun had become such a thing, and we wanted to do something equally relaxed and effortless,” the stylist previously told British Vogue of the look.
