MyHealthnet Service is urgently seeking dedicated volunteers and interns for the following areas:
About Us: MyHealthnet offers free services for individuals under 25, including community health promotion and education. We provide confidential advice and psychosexual health counseling to address a wide range of issues, from growing pains and relationship advice to sexual health, contraception, and general well-being.
Our Services Include:
- Confidential Advice: On topics such as delaying first sexual intercourse, contraception, STIs/STDs, HIV/AIDS, HPV, Hepatitis, and more.
- Workshops: Promoting self-empowerment and group support for young parents, individuals with gender identity issues, and those facing sex-related challenges.
- Partnerships: Collaborating with youth service providers in mental health, addiction, anti-bullying, sex trafficking, homelessness, and more.
- Life-Skills Workshops: Offering specialist clinical placements and internships for under 25s referred by our partners.
- Community Engagement: Hosting seminars and stakeholder events for communities, professionals, carers, parents, and places of worship.
