A DATE chronicles the deepest human emotions, two strangers can experience in a Single Day! It shows, how an unexpected friendship changes the lives of two people. Karthik, hails from Karnataka state, works in Bangalore for an IT company. Monisha, a Delhi girl, brought to Bangalore for a project purpose for a short period of time. Due to unavoidable situation, Monisha agrees to go on #ADATE with Karthik, a total stranger!
As expected, the beginning is filled with language and cultural clash between them. Monisha's racial behavior towards south Indians doesn't go well with Karthik. They end up fighting and finally agree that they are NOT meant to be together even for a minute. But destiny has a different plan for them. Somehow, Karthik convinces her to stay with him and experience the best day of her life. She reluctantly agrees by mutual deal of "not insulting" each other's feelings.
What started as a normal day, turns out to be life changing day of their lives. Amidst cultural and language differences, they learn to respect the differences and let go of things they cant control.
Shot in 25+ locations in & around Bangalore city, made as indie feature film, this is not a love story nor a road trip Rom-com type. This movie deals with deepest human emotions that could happen between two strangers.
