As chaos builds and violence mounts, calls grow for American action. "Do something," critics say to the Obama administration. Yet US policy options seem limited. Leading experts and long-time policy makers in the region will look at American options for engagement in the region—with a particular focus on Syria and Egypt—and at the impact of regional developments on the prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations and Israel's security.
