The Series | | The Lion King Prequel Comic
Betrothed tells the story before the story of The Lion King, about Queen Uru and King Ahadi - Mufasa and Scar (Taka)'s parents.

It's about duty vs. desire, loss, unrequited love, and temptation. Uru, in her betrothal to Ahadi, has had many things decided for her. She still finds a way to make choices, but are they the right ones?
