Beyond The Night tells the story of Ray Marrow (Zane Holtz), a U.S. soldier who returns to his forgotten, small coal-mining hometown in rural Pennsylvania after his wife is tragically killed in a car accident. He is now the guardian of his young son, Lawrence (Azhy Robertson), the sole survivor of the crash.

Lawrence, who never set foot in the town before, begins exhibiting strange behaviors, including a seemingly supernatural knowledge about the cold case of a teenage girl, July Rain, who went missing years prior. This information dangerously entangles Ray and Lawrence with Bernie Coleman (Chance Kelly), a local gangster and the missing girl's grieving father. Ray must navigate his own grief and his strained relationship with his son while struggling to protect him from the increasingly menacing locals who want answers about July.
