Boris Johnson found guilty of Multiple Contempt of Parliament

Boris Johnson wasn't just found guilty of contempt of parliament by the Privilege's Committee, but even more besides...
Right, so the Privileges Committee report has been published this morning, all 108 pages of it, in excess of 30,000 words which is a very long worded way of saying Boris Johnson misled parliament. Is the pope a Catholic you might well be thinking at hearing such news, but boy, did he mislead parliament. My God this report is insane, if you have the time to go through it as I spent this morning doing, please do so, but in case you don’t well, that’s what I’m here for isn’t it!
The report was commissioned last April to see if Boris Johnson deliberately misled parliament and that was indeed their unanimous finding, all seven members of the Committee agreed and bear in mind 4 of them are Tories themselves, but it wasn’t their only finding.
Through the course of the investigation the Committee established as fact that Johnson was fully aware of Covid rules and guidance, as should have been obvious despite his denials, he was the Prime Minister, he allegedly wrote the guidance, those who assisted in that task would have required his final sign off, his pleas that he believed he was not in breach was clearly a lie and the committee decided as such. Not only was he aware of the rules and regulations he himself had put into law however, but he was also just as aware of breaches of the guidance where they had occurred in Number 10, so his denials of events he attended or did not, he knew about and was aware that they were breaking the rules. Onto the main concern of this investigation, did he mislead the house, the Committee found that he did, on no less than 5 separate points. He misled the House when he claimed guidance was followed at all times in Number 10, that events held at Number 10 were within the rules and that the rules had been followed at all times and at all gatherings was the first one. He misled the House again when he denied personal knowledge of these gatherings. He did so again when stated he relied on repeated assurances that the rules were being followed at gatherings in Number 10, when the assurances were not conveyed to the House properly as either appropriately cited nor were they in anyway that could be regarded as authoritative and how could it be when the buck of authority ultimately stopped with Johnson? He misled the House a fourth time when he gave the impression the investigation by Sue Gray needed to be completed before he could answer questions of his own personal knowledge and finally he misled the house a fifth time when he came back to correct the record after his lies came out, only to continue to not do so and continue to deny knowledge and lie.
