Campaign trail blitz: Trump, Obama, Harris Push With Under 10 Days Until Midterms

President Donald Trump, former President Barack Obama, and former Vice President Kamala Harris were all out on the campaign trail this weekend in a final push by Democrats and Republicans to sway voters ahead of the midterms. With less than 10 days to go before Election Day, high-profile figures visited key battleground states as early voting surged across the country. In Michigan, attendees lined up overnight for Trump's rally in Port Huron, where he stumped for Republican Mike Rogers in a contentious Senate race against Democrat Abdul El-Sayed. During the event, Donald Trump said, "I'm here to keep a jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States senator."
Democrats countered with their own heavyweight surrogates across multiple states. Barack Obama campaigned for Abdul El-Sayed in Detroit on Saturday night, saying, "Abdul is fighting for change, real change. Change that will bring an end to this war, change that will get money out of politics and put money in your pocket." Meanwhile, Kamala Harris appeared in New Hampshire alongside Democratic Senate candidate Chris Pappas, who is running against Republican John Sununu. In her remarks, Kamala Harris addressed national sentiment, saying, "We've been depressed. We've been angry. We've been frustrated. We've have been feeling alone, hopeless, powerless."
The coordinated push from political leaders arrives as early voting centers open in additional states, including New York and New Jersey. Economic issues remain paramount for the electorate, with a FOX News poll showing the cost of living as a top concern for voters nationwide. Campaigning continues to intensify in Michigan, where Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is scheduled to spend the next two days campaigning for Abdul El-Sayed.
