Set along the west coast of Africa, Henry Sanders, a colonial police officer (Richard Todd) investigates a murder as a series of mysteries begin to unfold in front of him. Alongside the enigmatic Dr Inge Jung (Marianne Koch) Sanders embarks on an adventure following drugs, diamonds and and distant sounds of drumming that grows ever closer.
