TIPS || BEHIND THE SCENES OF AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION

In this video I share behind-the-scenes of one of my engagement sessions. I talk you through my thought process of how I work with my clients and make them comfortable in front of my camera. And as long as they have a wonderful experience and pretty photos they will be happy to refer me to their friends and family in the future and this is how I will keep growing my photography business.
Here are the tips I am mentioning in the video but of course I talk through them in a lot more detail there:
~ choose the location with the best light to make sure it matches your style of photography
~ guide your clients in posing that compliments them
~ always compliments your clients as much as possible
~ finish photographing in a spot that might not be perfect and just don't deliver those images but don't discourage your client by giving them negative feedback
~ create plenty of variety by doing flow posing
~ take photos with landmarks in the background
~ using sitting poses when possible
~ take them to the beach or city for the best looking light :)
~ ask your engaged couple to practice their first dance and it will create lots of posing opportunities and emotional closeness
~ use the engagement session location to the fullest of it potential (like get in the water, sit on the rocks and have fun)
