Synopsis:
Italy, 17th Century. Born into a powerful and wealthy noble family, the young and beautiful Virginia (Eva Grimaldi) is forced by her tyrannical father to take the veil against her will, ensuring the family's fortune remains undivided. Taking the name Sister Virginia, she is locked away in a strict convent in Monza. However, her rebellious spirit and worldly desires cannot be suppressed by the cloister's cold stone walls. Virginia's life changes forever when she catches the eye of Gian Paolo Osio, a handsome and wealthy nobleman whose estate borders the convent.
