Prince Harry is reported to be close to getting automatic, taxpayer-funded armed police protection when he visits the UK, after a fresh threat assessment by Ravec (the committee that decides protection for royals and VIPs). Reports say a decision could be confirmed within weeks, after Harry wrote to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood asking for a review. Harry previously lost a court fight over automatic UK police protection in May 2025.
