Ikwerre Rivers State Native Soup

This soup is a party style native soup of the Ikwerre people in Rivers State Nigeria. It is made with salted roasted meat, stockfish, dry fish, Dry Shrimps, Periwinkles, Ngolo(whelk) Oyster and Clams. It is a very rich soup.
It is a soup you should make even if you do not have all the seafoods available. It will still come out very tasty. If you also are allergic to some of the sea foods, you can make this soup with the ingredients that your body approves.
This soup is served traditionally with fermented cassava fufu, pounded Yam or Garri. Please feel free to serve it with your choice of fufu or swallow as we call it.
