Increased security presence in Iran: government blackout still in place across the country
Protests across Iran have reportedly decreased in intensity as authorities ramp up security forces in major cities. Heavy security presence is reported on the streets of Tehran, with the government working to prevent further demonstrations.
A widespread communication blackout remains in place, severely limiting internet access and phone communications for many citizens.
