Iran Attacks UK? Major Security Scare Near US Air Base, Homes Evacuated, Bomb Squad Rushed In

A major incident has been declared near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after several men were arrested on suspicion of offences under the UK Explosives Act. Residents from several properties in nearby Whelford were evacuated as specialist British Army bomb-disposal teams examined vehicles in the area. Police said the situation was contained and a cordon remained in place. RAF Fairford hosts US Air Force personnel and has gained strategic significance amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, but authorities have not said the arrests were directly linked to the air base.
