On Tuesday, Iran imposed sanctions on a number of senior U.S. officials who took part in President Donald Trump's "maximum pressure" campaign against the Islamic republic. The sanctions include a travel ban and a freeze on financial assets the individuals may hold in Iran. However, given U.S. sanctions against Iran and Trump's hardline policy, it's unlikely any of the targeted officials hold assets in Iran or intend to visit.
