I can see that this game has a big fan following, but I can't understand why!! OK i haven't played the multilayer and that might be the reason why this game is so loved.

I can't blame Gearbox Software for not trying, butan think they didn't allocate the resources correctly. This game has very good graphics (for it's time) and I think this game has ok art design, but the gameplay is uninspired and broken, the sound design is hell, well individual sounds are quite good, but when you play this game and when all game sounds should come together it becomes a one big stereo sound mess, this game is very hard to play never knowing what sound is coming from what side.
Then there is the horrible wr. iting I guess the target demography for this game was around 13-year-olds, but did they need to h13-year-oldsdren to write the story for this game ??
However i sad it and i will say this game again, the gameplay is the biggest problem, the game never defines your characters abilities, the game is like you'll figure it o on the way but i will not be any help at all, the situation is so bad that some times i can't find any logical connections, why did this door open now when few minutes before this it didn't open !!!!!! Howe, ver that is not the biggest problem I have with this game, the biggest problem I have with it is the unbelievably bad hit detection, you might be shooting an enemy point, blank, and it will still not register the hits!!!!!!!!!!!! Awful experience

There ara e few situations where this game is actually fun, but those minutes are very short-lived.

If you still want to play this game, make sure to install the unofficial version. Ith, it fixed so many problems thlife-savingsaving, I actually started the long play without this patch installed,t tallbut eventually I installed this patch, and it fixed the sound and the hit detection (well, at least it became more playable)

About this lo,ngpl, I couldn't have done a better job but I could not force myself to play this game any better.
