The indigenous members of Lagos State Union in the UK and Ireland marked Lagos State’s 50th anniversary in London with a vibrant celebration attended by dignitaries from across the country and public officials. The event showcased community spirit, arts and cultural exhibitions, speeches and lectures by Hon. Chief Maja and Alhaji T. Bakare, the Guest Mayor of Lewisham, as well as cultural dances and the colourful display of the iconic Eyo masquerade.
