Chancellor John Healey increased the income tax surcharge on property income from 2% to 4% from the 2007-28 tax year in last week's budget.

Maureen Treadwell, who is a landlord and manages five properties, says the risk is that the increase will be passed onto tenants.

Presenter Vicki Young was also joined by Labour MP Rachel Taylor, Conservative MP Saqib Bhatti and Deputy leader of the Green Party, Rachel Millward to discuss the subject.
