Love Takes Wing (2009) tells the story of Dr. Belinda Simpson, who travels to a small frontier town to replace an ailing doctor. Facing resistance as a woman in a male-dominated profession, Belinda must prove her skills while treating a serious outbreak of illness. As she gains the trust of the townspeople and cares for a group of orphaned children, she also begins to open her heart to love. The film highlights courage, compassion, and faith on the American frontier.
