In the heart of Dublin, the lives of four vivid but broken characters intersect. Finn O’Connor, a young aspiring actor, works as a waiter in a posh restaurant to support his ailing mother. To pay off debts, he borrows money from ruthless loan sharks while spinning tales about a fake movie career to keep her hopes alive

Next is Brendan Bloom, a once-famous Hollywood director, now a washed-up addict craving a comeback. Despite being married to a glamorous A-list actress, he’s consumed by rage, jealousy, and a fading sense of identity.

At the restaurant, we meet Desiree Temple, a once-radiant drag queen, now withdrawn after a mugging. But a mysterious handyman named Sean slowly brings light back into Desiree’s world—though he carries secrets of his own.

And then there's Cara, a seductive femme fatale who hides her true profession from Finn. She lures men in, then traps and extorts them in manipulative schemes for power and money.

The story unfolds as a series of overlapping episodes. Characters collide—at the restaurant, on Dublin's streets, in moments of ambition and disillusionment. The tension peaks when Finn, desperate and unstable, takes Brendan hostage and performs an "audition" at gunpoint.

The film explores the ruthless world of showbiz, where power and empty promises shape careers. Dialogue is sharp, the cast electric—but the surreal tones and loosely stitched arcs leave an ambiguous, almost Tarantino-style ending.
