A routine court appearance for Columber Obioma spiraled into a weeks-long detention.
“I don’t think it’s fair. I feel devastated,” explained Obioma, who lives in Harrisburg.
His future hangs in the balance, while his present consists of paperwork, court dates, and this ankle monitor dictating his movements.
“I am not a criminal, so I don’t know why this,” said Obioma, talking about his monitor.
A letter from the Department of Homeland Security said it wants to possibly deport Obioma because he was here beyond January 2020
