People march through London to celebrate the new year. The route runs from Piccadilly to Parliament Square, via Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.
8,000 performers from various nations' communities are participating in London's New Year parade, which will see dancing, singing and playing during the entirety of the route from Green Park to the Palace of Westminster. Chesney Hawkes and Boyzlife will lead the head performances during the parade.
