About the track:
“Hot Wit U” originally appeared on his 1999 album Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic, and although Eve can be heard on the remix, she doesn’t appear in the music video for the song. The remix, which also includes snippets of the Prince-penned Vanity 6 hit “Nasty Girl,” would be officially released on 2001’s Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic through the NPG Music Club.

Following the success of his mail-order phone line 1-800-NEW-FUNK, he launched a series of websites that allowed exclusive access to both new and unreleased music from his legendary vault.

In 2000, Prince began posting news and music to NPGOnlineLtd.com, a short-lived website that was a precursor to his groundbreaking NPG Music Club. In the year that NPGOnlineLtd.com was live, he used the platform to upload press releases, announce events, hold Q&As with his fams, and share songs and videos like the one for “Hot Wit U (Nasty Girl Remix),” which was a collaboration with the rapper Eve.
