Ethan, a former alcoholic, boards a train on his way home to visit his young son Lucas, who has autism. On the way, he meets a strange stranger named Ambrose. A frank conversation begins between the men that forces Ethan to look at his own life from a different perspective.

Sharing memories of his struggle with addiction, past mistakes, and broken relationships, the hero gradually reveals his pain and guilt. Ambrose, an attentive listener and wise interlocutor, asks simple but profound questions that help Ethan understand the meaning of his journey and find inner strength.

The train becomes a symbol of moving forward: from darkness to hope.
