King Charles’s new aide Theo Rycroft is reportedly trying to help heal the long-running split between Prince William and Prince Harry. Reports claim he sees the row as damaging and wants to ease the strain it is placing on the King, especially ahead of Harry’s expected UK visit this summer linked to Invictus preparations. Rycroft is a former diplomat who joined the King’s household as deputy private secretary earlier this year, and recent profile reporting has highlighted his growing influence inside the Palace. But while there may be hopes of improving ties between Charles and Harry, any reunion with William still looks far harder.
