“Taxing Us Into Oblivion” | Burnham Rules Out Early Election as Spending Row Grows

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has ruled out an early general election, with the next vote expected by 2029 unless one is called sooner.

Critics argue that voters should have a say if the government makes major changes to its economic plans. Charlie Rowley speaks with Philip Kiszely, Senior Fellow at the New Culture Forum.
