A group of P.O.W.'s attempt an escape. But unbeknownst to them, a fellow P.O.W. get's wind of their plans, and reveals all to the Camp Commandant, resulting in four prisoners being killed, whilst the fifth, Mike McCall, is left blinded after being wounded.
Year's later, after no luck in identifying the traitor via the War Crime Commission, McCall settles into a career in the perfumery trade. He is sent to England, to work out a merger deal with a fashion company. Whist waiting to meet with the company's boss in the reception area , a group of people exit from a nearby office. Suddenly, McCall recognizes one of the voices as that of the traitor from 14 years earlier.
McCall befriends one of the fashion models, and together, they attempt to put a face to the voice.
This is a pretty neat little Danziger thriller.
