(also known as Harsens Island Revenge) is a gritty, action-packed historical crime drama based on the acclaimed novel by Karl Manke. Set during the roaring 1920s, Prohibition is in full swing across America, and Detroit’s notorious, bloodthirsty "Purple Gang" controls an estimated 80% of the nation's illegal liquor trade. Enforcing their lucrative bootlegging monopoly through extreme violence, fear, and ruthless extortion rackets, the syndicate rules the region unchallenged—until they cross paths with the wrong community. On nearby Harsens Island, a resilient group of local outdoorsmen and battle-hardened World War I veterans successfully run their own independent, highly profitable Canadian whiskey smuggling operation across Lake St. Clair. When the Purple Gang attempts to muscle in on their territory using brutal intimidation, the veterans, led by war-hardened vets Frankie (David Michael Reardon) and Axel (DJ Perry), flatly refuse to be bullied. Escalating the conflict into an all-out turf war, ruthless mob boss Ray Bernstein (Don Most) hires cold-blooded hitmen to kidnap Frankie’s fiancée, Stella, and his young daughter, Carla. Now, the heavily armed veterans must reactivate their elite military combat training, band together into a rogue militia, and launch a high-stakes rescue mission to defend their island home and bring down organized crime once and for all.
