After a violent robbery at a nightclub, criminals Matthias Caruana and Kyle Borg find themselves on the run. In the chaos, they kill the owner’s son, turning a robbery into a full-scale manhunt. Their escape takes a disastrous turn when their getaway car crashes and bursts into flames, destroying the stolen money and leaving them desperate.

With the police closing in, the three fugitives break into the home of Dave McBain. Inside, they take his family hostage — his wife and their two children, six-year-old Thomas and sixteen-year-old Alice. What begins as a temporary refuge quickly turns into a tense and dangerous standoff.

As the situation escalates, internal conflict within the criminal group threatens to spiral out of control.
