Abacha was a powerful Nigerian Military Head of State and some persons describe him as the real dictator that ever ruled Nigeria. He was feared by those in uniform and civilians alike. He was a man of action and few words. He had no room for opposing voices. He was indeed a powerful man who had been in many circles of power in Nigeria since his days as a 2nd Lieutenant till he became a General and Head of State. Abacha passed on while still in office in 1998. This video tells a story of the day Abacha passed on in Aso Rock Villa, the official residence of Presidents of Nigeria.
