Nate and Susan Brown, a seemingly ordinary millennial couple in their mid-twenties, are rocked when Susan abruptly announces she wants a divorce, leaving Nate stunned and alone. Packing his bags, he retreats to a nearby hotel, only to realize that friends who once knew him only as half of a couple have vanished from his life. Facing the daunting reality of his newfound singlehood, Nate stumbles through loneliness and self-doubt—until Katie, a recently divorced woman, swoops in with an unexpected proposal: a glamorous "divorce party" to celebrate his fresh start. As Nate hesitantly embraces this wild idea, he begins to rediscover friendship, humor, and even the possibility of love in a life he never imagined for himself.
