Plot Summary :
The movie is based on the true story of serial killer Charles Cullen, a nurse who murdered patients by secretly administering lethal doses of drugs in hospitals across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The story follows Amy Loughren, a compassionate ICU nurse struggling with a heart condition while raising two daughters. She befriends her new colleague Charles Cullen, who at first seems kind and supportive. But when a series of mysterious patient deaths occur, suspicions arise.
As police investigate, Amy risks her own safety to work with detectives, gathering evidence against Cullen and eventually exposing his crimes. The film highlights not only Cullen’s terrifying murders but also Amy’s bravery and the systemic failures in healthcare that allowed Cullen to work undetected for years.
