The Guilt is a romance drama series that tells the Romeo and Juliet story of two young lovers living. The series opens with Isabel moving to the capital from the suburbs with her rich father Mariano and her beautiful mother Andrea. She doesn't adapt well to living in the big city, until she falls in love with Miguel at first sight. The two carry on a romance, but must keep it secret, since Miguel's father is a retired boxer, who lives in a different social class than Isabel and her family. Tragedy strikes after Miguel passes out one day and wakes up to find the prostitute, laying dead by his side. Isabel's father, who is also the chief of police, accuses Miguel of murder and forbids his daughter from having any contact with the accused. The two lovebirds must now defy their parents and go on the hunt for the real killer to clear Miguel's name.
