Oniwaban was an organisation of authorised Kogi Onmitsu by Bakuhu that is composed of two groups of Ninja: Iga and Kouga.

They had had spy activities for generations, and were called “Kusa.


” This is the story of an Onmitsu who settled in Okazaki Joka town during the Seitoku period of General Ietsugu as a “Kusa” and his son who trained to be a Ninja in Edo.


The harsh destiny of Oniwaban under political power is depicted by Kunie Tanaka, playing the main character.
