Video store owner and film noir obsessed Neil, has an unexpected turn in his life when a mysterious woman named Violet enters his world. Violet, a free-spirited thrill-seeker, convinces Neil to embark on a series of increasingly bizarre and dangerous "detective" adventures, pushing him out of his comfort zone. As their chemistry builds, Neil finds himself questioning his routine life and discovering the excitement he’s been missing.
