2025 Last night was the first Monday of May, which of course meant that the Met Gala took place, and saw some of the biggest stars in the world grace those famous steps for one of the most fashionable nights of the year.

The annual celebration of the Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition this year saw guests dress to the theme of 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'. It is the first time the main exhibition has had a menswear focus, and the event saw names including Pharrell Williams and Lewis Hamilton play host for the evening. The theme was inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, and saw stars turn out their very best take on tailoring.
