Ever wondered what life as a professional football player was like?


As a former professional player, I decided to go back to Nigeria to spend some time with Sunshine Stars of the Nigerian Premier League, a team with a rich history, high expectations and an extremely loyal fanbase.

We spent some time talking to the players about the love that the nation has for football and how it provides a a getaway from some of the trials and everyday life for millions of people in the Country.

We've all heard the allegations of corruption, fraud, the way of life and many more stories, but now it's time to hear the accounts of the players, supporters and everyday people in Nigeria.
