AT the NIG 2020: YEAR OF THE NURSE/MIDWIFE FLAG OFF IN ABUJA BY NNCA UKOn Wednesday January 29 2020, at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, the leadership of the Nigerian Nurses Charitable Association UK led by Princess Wendy Olayiwola-Odutola flagged off the Nigeria 2020: The Year of The Nurse and The Midwife event as prelude to the Global celebration come July 13-19 2020 at the Lagos Hall Alausa, Ikeja. The occasion was attended by the Chairman Senate Committee on Ecology and Climate Change-Senator Hassan Mohammed-Gusau, Chairman Senate Committee on Health, Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe, The Minister of State FMOH, Senator (Dr) Olorunimbe Mamora, (represented by Dr Bola Olowu, Director of PPP/Diaspora Det FMOH) the Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission-Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa and the Chairman and Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Alhaji Farouk Umar and Dr Bola Ofi respectively, the Director of Nursing Services-FMOH Mrs Vera Okolo, the Director of Nursing Services University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Mrs Lydia Ngozi Chukwu, the Coordinator of the Directors of Nursing in Nigeria, Mrs Enunwaonye Hossnna C and lots of dignitaries covered by 27 media houses!
