Russian interference in Brexit is ‘not beyond the pale’

Sky News contributor Catherine McGregor says it is perfectly possible Russia interfered in the 2016 Brexit vote.
A new report from Britain’s Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee released on Tuesday which claims Russia meddled in the 2014 Scottish Independence referendum.
However, committee members said they could not conclude whether the Kremlin involved itself in the 2016 Brexit vote because the government and intelligence agencies made no efforts to find out.
“If they’ve done that in the UK it doesn’t surprise me because you’ve got a large expatriate community of oligarchs with business interests in Britain.
“The idea of Russian interference in Britain is not beyond the pale.”
